Terms

These terms apply to any design consultation, quote, or fitted bedroom furniture project arranged with Turners Designs. By booking a design visit or accepting a quote, you agree to the terms set out below.

Website use

The content of this website, including text, photographs of completed work, and the Turners Designs name and logo, belongs to Turners Designs and may not be copied or reused without permission. We've made reasonable efforts to keep the information on this site accurate, but it's provided for general guidance and doesn't form part of any contract.

Quotes and estimates

Every job starts with a free, no-obligation design visit, after which we provide a written quote based on the agreed design, materials and finish. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date given. If you change the design, materials, or scope of the job after the quote is agreed, the price may need to be revised to reflect that.

Booking and cancellation

A booking is confirmed once you've accepted the written quote and paid any deposit requested. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible. Where materials have already been ordered or cut to your design, cancellation may involve a charge to cover the cost of that work.

Payment

A deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due on completion of the fit. The exact amount will be set out in your written quote. We accept bank transfer and card payment. Late payment may result in a delay to any outstanding work.

Guarantees and warranties

We guarantee our workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion against faults in construction or fitting. This doesn't cover damage caused by misuse, water damage, or normal wear and tear. Where hardware such as hinges or drawer runners carries its own manufacturer warranty, we'll pass on the details of that separately.

Liability

Our liability for any loss or damage arising from the work is limited to the value of that work, except where liability cannot be excluded by law, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
